These images are montages of photographs taken on the street or in other public places. The photographs were taken because they intrigued me or otherwise appealed to me. I didn't have any specific plans for presenting the images at the time. The resulting montages are intended to create an unreal situation that seems to be not quite so unreal as it actually is and around which an interpretation can be created by the viewer. The locations for the photographs were the London Covent Garden area and Liverpool. |
